Food-Grade Heat Shrink - 3/8 diameter 12 long

We've stocked this food-safe heat shrink tubing especially for those working on beer-brewing or sous-vide projects with our waterproof DS18B20+ digital temperature sensors. It's FDA-approved for direct food contact. The sensor's end is stainless steel, but its PVC jacketing isn't suitable for direct food or drink immersion. With this heat shrink, it's a breeze. Just slide it on, leaving about 1 cm of the stainless steel sensor cap exposed, then heat it to create a tight seal. This way, no PVC will touch your food. Remember, this product is just a 12-foot piece of heat shrink and doesn't include the waterproof DS18B20+ sensors, so grab one if you need it.

Using this food-grade heat shrink tubing is easy. First, make sure you have a waterproof DS18B20+ digital temperature sensor. Slip the heat shrink tubing onto the sensor, leaving about 1 cm of the stainless - steel cap exposed. Then, use a heat source to shrink the tubing and create a seal. This will prevent the PVC part of the sensor from touching your food. When using it, always ensure the sensor is clean before putting on the heat shrink. For maintenance, store the heat shrink tubing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you notice any damage to the tubing, replace it before using it again. Also, don't forget that this product doesn't come with the sensor, so you need to get one separately.
