You're a fan of NeoPixels and silicone diffusion? Check out this amazing Flexible Silicone Neon-like Skinny NeoPixel LED Strip! It may be a long name, but just look at the stunning footage. It looks exactly like a slim neon strip, but without the need for costly transformers, glass tubing, inert gasses, or a Las Vegas casino license. These LED strips look incredible, are extremely easy to use, and are a fantastic way to make your projects shine. It's flexible, skinny, and bendy. It's one of our side-light NeoPixel strips with a solid casing of translucent silicone rubber as a diffuser. The silicone provides a strong, durable, and weather-proof casing. Although not suitable for long-term underwater use or extended outdoor exposure, it's tough enough for outdoor projects like cosplay, bike lighting, or festival decorations. You can easily cut it with wire cutters. You'll receive a 1-meter-long tube sealed at one end, with a JST SM 3-pin connector at the input. Supply 5V to the power pins and standard NeoPixel (WS281x) data to the third pin. Don't forget to share the ground pin between the 5V power supply and your microcontroller. Then you'll be glowing in style! Our detailed NeoPixel Uberguide has all the information you need to use NeoPixels in any shape and size, including ready-to-go library and example code for various Arduino models.

Using this LED strip is a breeze. First, you've got a 1 - meter - long tube with a sealed end and a JST SM 3 - pin connector. Just supply 5V power to the power pins and the standard NeoPixel data to the third pin. Make sure to connect the ground pin between the 5V power supply and your microcontroller. That's it, and your project will start glowing. As for cutting, you can use wire cutters to trim it to the length you need. Now, for the precautions. This strip isn't meant for long - term underwater use or constant outdoor exposure. But it can handle short - term outdoor projects like cosplay or bike lighting. For maintenance, keep it dry and away from sharp objects that could damage the silicone casing. And if you need more help, refer to our detailed NeoPixel Uberguide which has all the info and example code for different Arduino models.
