The FeatherS3 comes pre - loaded with the latest CircuitPython version supporting ESP32 - S3 and the UF2 bootloader. Updating to the latest CircuitPython firmware is a breeze - just plug it into your computer, and it'll show up as a USB flash drive. Copy or edit your code directly. You can also use Arduino 2.0.3 or later, ESP - IDF, or an early MicroPython port. For power, the board has LiPo battery charging capabilities and reverse USB back - feed protection. When it comes to maintenance, keep the board clean and dry. The RGB LED can be used for status indication, and the power and charge LEDs will show you the power status.
