Product Details

The FAN Module for Stepmotor is an ideal solution for stepper motor control. It's a great fit for any motion project, capable of driving up to 3 stepper motors with GRBL control. Built with a MEGA328P that has been flashed with GRBL firmware, it communicates with M5Core via I2C(0x70). This module integrates 3 DRV8825 chips. It's a simple yet powerful board that can control one bipolar stepper motor at a time and supports micro - stepping up to 1/32 of a step. Key features include a 9 - 24V power input and 3 - way stepper motor control (X, Y, Z). The kit includes 1 step motor module, an optional 12V power supply, and an optional 5V FAN module for heat dissipation. It's perfect for DIY 3D printers and simple robot arms. There's also STEPMOTOR firmware available. Examples are provided for Arduino IDE and UIFlow programming.

Using this FAN Module for Stepmotor is quite straightforward. First, connect the power supply within the 9 - 24V range. Then, connect the stepper motors (X, Y, Z) to the appropriate ports. If you're using Arduino IDE, you can refer to the provided code example. Just make sure to get the complete code from the given link. For UIFlow, check out the Blockly Platform to explore easy servo programming. When it comes to maintenance, keep the module clean and free from dust. If you use the optional 5V FAN module for heat dissipation, ensure it's working properly. Also, be careful when handling the module to avoid any physical damage.
