Product Details

If you're looking to enclose a circuit board or a project and need something super durable, this extruded aluminum box is an ideal choice. Crafted from solid anodized aluminum, it's both lightweight and tough. It's also a breeze to machine or drill. The end - plates are removable, allowing you to create a custom end plate from other materials if you wish. Inside, there are circuit board slots. So, if you have a custom PCB, it can fit in without screws and won't make much noise. This box is perfect for DIY audio amplifiers or measurement tools that benefit from RF shielding. It comes in a sleek dark anodized - black aluminum finish. Each box includes a box itself, eight 6mm - long, M2.5 - sized screws with a 0.45mm pitch, and two side panels. We also offer a 100mm x 67mm version.

Using this extruded aluminum box is easy. First, open the box by removing the end - plates. Place your circuit board or project inside through the open end. If you have a custom PCB, just slide it into the built - in slots. No need to use screws, and it will stay stable. After placing your item, attach the end - plates back on using the provided screws. When it comes to customizing, feel free to remove the end - plates and cut out a new one from another material. Just be careful when handling sharp tools. For maintenance, keep the box clean by wiping it with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the anodized finish. If you lose a screw, you can replace it with a 6mm - long, M2.5 - sized screw having a 0.45mm pitch.
