Product Details

Easily create your own custom DE-9 cables or interfaces with this amazing DE-9 Plug to Terminal Block Breakout. It comes with a sturdy PCB featuring a DE-9 socket and two rows of terminal blocks. You can use either stranded or solid core wire to quickly assemble your wiring setups. Ideal for non - standard wiring needs or connecting to older devices with these connectors. Although technically 'DB - 9' is an incorrect name for DE - 9 connectors, it's so commonly used that most people recognize them by this name. The package includes a fully assembled breakout and a clip - on housing.

Using this DE-9 Plug to Terminal Block Breakout is a breeze. First, gather your stranded or solid core wire. Connect the wires to the terminal blocks on the PCB according to your wiring needs. If you're making a custom DE-9 cable, attach the cable to the DE-9 socket on the PCB. When connecting to an older device, ensure the device is turned off to avoid any electrical issues. As for maintenance, keep the breakout in a dry place to prevent corrosion of the terminal blocks and the PCB. If there's dust on it, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it clean. Don't use any harsh chemicals as they might damage the components.
