Costume Goggles

Hey there! We've got super cool LED goggle tutorials. Now, you're eager to make your own, right? Grab a pair of NeoPixel rings and these awesome costume goggles to start your project! These goggles look like aviator or welding goggles, but they're just for costumes, not for eye - protection. You can wear them on your head or over your eyes, but don't use them for welding, flying, or motorcycling. They're made of plastic with screw - off lens - holders. Each eye has two lenses: a clear glass one and a 50% tint plastic one. The dark - tint lens lets you hide electronics inside the goggles while still letting LED light shine through. They fit our NeoPixel 16 rings perfectly. There's no foam or padding, so you can add your own for more comfort. Since they're plastic, you can easily cut holes on the sides to attach more LEDs or control buttons.

Using these costume goggles is easy. First, decide if you want to wear them on your head or over your eyes. You can combine them with NeoPixel rings as shown in our tutorials. When you're putting electronics inside, use the dark - tint lens to hide them. If you feel uncomfortable, add some foam padding. Remember, these goggles are only for costumes, so don't use them in activities like welding or flying. To maintain them, keep them away from sharp objects to avoid scratches on the lenses. If they get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
