Product Details

With our exciting range of conductive materials, creating cosplay and wearables has never been a breeze! This Conductive Nylon tape pairs perfectly with other cool materials like copper tape, ITO glass or plastic, and conductive inks. The metallic nylon fabric offers significant advantages over regular copper tape. First, it won't crack when bent or twisted, allowing you to create all kinds of unique shapes and paths without fearing broken traces. It's highly flexible, making it suitable for use on flexible materials. The tape comes with conductive glue on one side, enabling you to directly attach it to capacitive pads. It has high conductivity, just a few ohms per foot. While it's not as conductive as pure copper tape, it can power small components. Note that you can't solder it like pure copper tape, but you can sew it because it's fabric. Each order includes a strip of 8mm wide and 10-meter long tape, long enough for multiple projects. Just cut the size you need and save the rest. If 8mm is too wide, we also have 5mm available.

Using this conductive nylon fabric tape is easy. First, decide on the size you need for your project and cut the tape accordingly. Since it has conductive glue on one side, you can directly stick it to capacitive pads. You can bend or twist it into different shapes as it won't crack. If you want to attach it in a more permanent way, you can sew it because it's made of fabric. However, don't try to solder it like you would with pure copper tape. When storing the tape, keep it in a dry and cool place to maintain its conductivity. If you have any leftover tape, simply roll it up and save it for your next project. And if you find the 8mm width too wide, remember we also offer a 5mm option.
