Sometimes, all you need is a straightforward yet tough carrying case for your parts or projects. This case is crafted from protective black High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). It offers a great combination of abrasion resistance, impact toughness, chemical resistance, and strength for whatever you want to put inside. The lid comes with a Polyolefin snap-in latch and a convenient carrying handle. This is the same case used for the SparkFun Inventor’s Kit v4.0. Unlike previous SIK cases, this version doesn't have storage compartments. But if you're keen on keeping your components super organized, we've provided a 3D-printable file (in the Documents tab) to create separators. We've also shared the interior dimensions (in the Features tab) so you can design your own separators to fit your needs.
Using this carrying case is easy. Just open the lid with the Polyolefin snap - in latch, put your parts or projects inside, and close it. For organization, you can either use the 3D - printable separator file we provided or design your own based on the interior dimensions. When it comes to maintenance, simply wipe the case with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as the case is made of HDPE, which can be damaged by some strong substances. Also, don't expose the case to extremely high temperatures for a long time as it might affect the material's properties. If you need to carry the case, use the handle on the lid. That's it! Now you're ready to use your case for all your parts and projects.
