This A02YYUW ultrasonic distance sensor is a top - notch commercial - grade module. It measures the distance to a target by timing the gap between sending and receiving ultrasonic pulses. The sensor uses a closed separated probe, making it waterproof and dustproof, perfect for harsh and moist measuring environments. All signal processing units are integrated inside the module. You can directly get the distance value through the Asynchronous Serial Interface. With a 9600bit/s band rate, it can easily communicate with upper - host or other MCUs, significantly shortening your development cycle. You can use it with an Arduino controller for various projects like backing car annunciators, obstacle - avoidance robots, and object approaching detection.
