Product Details

Get instant cooling for your electronics with our USB-powered 5V square fan! It's a plug-and-play solution perfect for small computers, FPGAs, motor drivers, and other heat - sensitive parts. No more overheating issues. You have multiple power and control options. Simply plug it in via USB to start cooling right away. Or, cut off the USB connector and wire it directly to a 5V power source. You can also regulate the fan speed using a motor controller, H - Bridge, or MOSFET. As fans are inductive loads, a flyback diode is needed to protect your circuitry; we suggest the MOSFET Driver Stemma for an easy setup. Available in various sizes, each fan comes with front and back protective grills, mounting screws, and nuts for effortless installation.

Using this fan is easy. First, decide how you want to power it. You can either plug it into a USB port for instant cooling or cut off the USB connector and wire it directly to a 5V power source. If you want to control the speed, use a motor controller, H - Bridge, or MOSFET. Remember, because the fan is an inductive load, you need to add a flyback diode to protect your circuit. We recommend using the MOSFET Driver Stemma to make the setup simple. When installing, use the included front and back protective grills, mounting screws, and nuts. As for maintenance, keep the fan clean by gently removing any dust or debris. Make sure to check the wiring from time to time to ensure it's still secure. If you notice any unusual noises or the fan isn't working as well, it might be time to replace parts or check the power source.
