12V 5A switching power supply

This is a robust switching power supply, ideal when you need a large amount of power. It can deliver 12V DC up to 5 Amps and operates on 110V or 220V power. The included plug is for US/Canada/Japan, but you can use a plug adapter for your country or simply replace the cable with a standard 'figure - 8' cable. The output connects to a 2.1mm DC plug, and there's a green indicator light to show it's working. It's UL approved! This power supply is perfect for powering LED strips or multiple motors in a CNC project. Using it is better than modifying an ATX power supply as the 12V outputs of a PC power supply are not stable at all current levels unless the 5V supply is also in heavy use. Some customers were confused by the label that seemed to say '.5A' instead of '5A', but there's a comma in front of the 5 that looks like a dot - it's truly a 5A supply.

Using this power supply is easy. First, connect the power supply to a 110V or 220V power source. You can use the included plug if you're in the US, Canada, or Japan, or use a plug adapter for other countries, or replace the cable with a standard 'figure - 8' cable. Then, connect the output to your device using the 2.1mm DC plug. The green indicator light will turn on when it's working. When using it for LED strips or CNC motors, make sure the power requirements of your devices are within the 12V 5A capacity. Don't overload the power supply. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and cool place. If you notice any abnormal heat or strange noises, stop using it immediately and check for problems.
