Are you looking to measure temperature in damp conditions? Our epoxy - coated 10K thermistor offers 1% precision at an affordable price. It's perfect for weather monitoring or measuring temperatures in liquids. At 25 °C, it has a resistance of 10K (± 1%), and its resistance changes inversely with temperature. Check the lookup table for specific temperature - to - resistance values. This thermistor is commonly used in air conditioners, water lines, and other damp environments. The PVC - coated wires can withstand up to 105 °C, so it's not suitable for extremely hot applications. As a bonus, we include an extra 1% 10K resistor for calibration or other uses. We also have a detailed tutorial on how thermistors work and how to use this one with Arduino and CircuitPython!

Using this thermistor is easy. First, connect it to your Arduino or other compatible device following the instructions in our tutorial. Place it in the area where you want to measure temperature, like near an air conditioner or in a water line. Remember, it's great for damp places but not for extremely hot ones as the PVC coating on the wires can only handle up to 105 °C. When you need to calibrate, use the extra 1% 10K resistor we included. To maintain it, keep it clean and dry when not in use. If you want to know the exact resistance at a certain temperature, refer to the lookup table. And if you have any questions about using it with Arduino or CircuitPython, check out our detailed tutorial.
